Sports broadcaster ESPN has launched a new on-demand channel for the EMEA region, ESPN Select.
The channel, part of the ESPN Player live and on-demand streaming offering, will enable viewers to watch content including a selection of ESPN films, Little League World Series baseball and Drone Racing.
Other content on the channel will include the BattleFrog League Championships which sees teams of athletes tackle extreme obstacle courses.
An ESPN Select subscription will also include access to ESPN Player’s X-Games and World Series of Poker channels that were previously available as separate subscriptions.
In the UK, a monthly pass is available for £6.99, and starts with a seven day free trial, while a 24 hour pass is available for £4.99.
The new channel joins existing channels NCAA College sport and IndyCar motorsports on the ESPN Player service.
Charly Classen, General Manager, ESPN EMEA, said: “ESPN Select will bring fans a great line-up of live and on-demand content, with something new and different every month. The channel offers a combination of what makes ESPN great – live coverage of exciting and captivating sports, plus critically acclaimed sports documentaries from some of the best directors in the world.”
