The SVoD service, owned by Ten: The Enthusiast Network, has tapped 3 Screen Solutions to provide a new web front-end, including a new user interface as well as mobile apps for Android and iOS devices.
3 Screen Solutions has also integrated a new back-end infrastructure with an online video platform provided by Kaltura and Ten’s new subscription management system and user management platform.
Ten chose Kaltura to provide its online video platform in November last year, with a front-end provided by 3 Screen Solutions to support the SVoD offering.
Motor Trend OnDemand provides about 1,000 hours of automative and motorcycle-related content, including event coverage, archive content and films. The service is the sole North American distributor for about 60 live motorsports events.
“We continue to see the benefits and efficiencies that have resulted from choosing the innovative pre-integrated Kaltura and 3SS platform,” said Ten CEO Scott Dickey.
“Our new mobile apps from 3SS are highly functional and engaging. Furthermore, they launched right on schedule. So more people can now enjoy Motor Trend OnDemand whenever they choose.”
