Periscope launches Editor’s Picks

Twitter-owned live video service Periscope has launched a curated ‘Editors’ Picks’ channel.

The launch, which Periscope announced yesterday on Twitter, follows the appointment of Medium executive Evan Hansen as editor in chief in May.

Later the same month, Periscope also announced plans to launch broadcast search and drone support. The service said that the new features would help users to “form communities around the topics they care about and broadcast from new perspectives”.
