M7 taps Media Broadcast Satellite for uplink services

Media broadcastLuxembourg-based international pay TV operator M7 Group has tapped German media services provider Media Broadcast Satellite to provide uplink services for its pay TV operations in the Benelux countries, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Under the terms of the deal, Media Broadcast Satellite will provide uplink services for six transponders on the Astra satellite position at 23.5° East. Services will be handled by the company’s teleport in Usingen. The contract is for an initial period of three years.
