Sweden’s TV4 Group has named Karin Törnkvist to the post of head of concepts, with a mission to strengthen and develop the broadcast group’s ‘conceptual solutions’ and build and strengthen its brands.
Törnkvist’s main responsibility will be to develop partnerships with customers and media agencies relating to TV4 programmes, both on linear and digital platforms.
Törnkvist, who will join TV4 on August 4, previously worked for branding and marketing specialist Starcom as a TV director and account manager.
In her new role she succeeds Sophie Wachtmeister, who has left the company.
TV4 Group sales director Malin Hager said that the group was continually working to improve its integrated communications and that Törnvist’s agency experience would help it do so.
