German trade show ANGA COM has said its visitor numbers this year grew by 6% to reach 18,000, while the number of attendees to its congress grew by 16% to 2,200.
The number of countries of origin of attendees grew by 20% to 89, according to ANGA COM.
ANGA COM has also announced that it is moving to new halls and a modern congress centre in the northern part of the Köln Messe next year. The 2017 event will take place between May 30 and June 1.
Thomas Braun, president of cable association ANGA said: “ANGA COM was again a huge success for us. Our Cologne show team has once again excelled itself. The close combination of broadband and media as well as of the exhibition and congress has paid off. For this, I would like to thank also our cooperation partner Medienforum NRW and the altogether 12 industry associations that actively supported us. I was particularly impressed by the positive energy that could be experienced in the exhibition hall. Our industry is and will remain the most important motor for digitisation.”
