Germany’s Maxdome worked with digital product design firm Ostmodern on the recent redesign of its subscription video-on-demand service, it has been revealed.
Ostmodern said that it supported Maxdome in creating the new UI design, and also developed a “strategic direction” for advanced engagement on the platform – including an editorial-led approach to viewer recommendations.
“The re-launch of maxdome’s SVOD service has been our most ambitious project to date, made all the more challenging by the timeframe. Ostmodern’s strategic grasp of the VOD market, unique insight into how viewers behave, and its approach to UX and design made this possible,” said Filmon Zerai, managing director and COO at Maxdome.
The ProSiebenSat.1-owned SVOD platform also partnered with video app specialist Accedo on the newest version of its service.
