NBCU launches reality SVOD on Foxtel
NBCUniversal has launched its reality TV SVOD service Hayu in Australia.
It has rolled out on Foxtel and will be available to the pay TV platform’s subs who have the Entertainment Plus package, which includes the E! channel, part of the NBCUniversal stable.
NBC and Foxtel have a longstanding output deal.
Hayu launched in the UK and Australia in March, as a standalone direct-to-consumer offering, as first reported by DTVE. it subsequently launched on the Virgin cable platform.
It carries reality programming from the NBCU catalogue including Keeping Up with the Kardashians, The Real Housewives (US versions), and I Am Cait.
In Australia, the service is free for qualifying Foxtel subs.
