Nagra will highlight next generation solutions designed to help pay TV operators deliver a “secure, engaging and everywhere” experience to consumers at ANGA COM.
Nagra will demo its set-top box reference solution for Netflix, which is designed to let operators easily expand their offerings with SVOD services, and was recently deployed by StarHub in Singapore.
“New growth opportunities lie ahead for pay TV operators in Europe who are uniquely positioned to provide consumers with the services they want, anytime, and on any screen,” said Ivan Verbesselt, senior vice-president, group marketing for Nagra.
“This will be the focus of our ANGA COM showcase. Whether it’s integrating OTT services into a content lineup or deploying next generation content protection, Nagra’s portfolio of innovative solutions help service providers make the transition from traditional to hybrid pay TV, allowing them to deliver rich and innovative viewing experiences to their subscribers.”
Nagra will also show off new developments in content protection that will build on its anyCAST adaptive security concept, addressing different devices and use cases and featuring connected security, 4K content protection and watermarking.
Nagra anyCAST gives pay TV service providers a range of conditional access and digital rights management solutions. Using a single security services platform, Nagra anyCAST controls a range of cardless, card-based, embedded and two-way connected secure clients as well as third-party DRMs.
Nagra will exhibit at ANGA COM in hall 10.2, stand E11
