Eutelsat appoints China CEO

Philippe Lin

Eutelsat has appointed longstanding Airbus executive, Philippe Lin, as CEO of the group’s China office.

Lin will steer the development of Eutelsat’s activities in China and joins the firm after 15 years as vice-president and chief representative of Airbus China.

Prior to Airbus, Lin, a French national, held executive appointments at French oil and gas company Total – both in Beijing and in Paris.

He began his career in China working for China’s Council for Promotion of International Trade.
