Samsung boosts UK Smart TV Hub gaming options

Samsung is bolstering its UK gaming line-up with the addition of the PlayStation Now and GameFly Streaming apps to its smart TV store.

The new apps join a growing line-up of services available to download through its smart TV hub, which include Amazon Instant Video, Curzon Home Cinema, Mubi and YouTube.

“At Samsung, we are committed to giving people the best home entertainment experience possible, and our gaming offering is just one of the ways in which we aim to achieve that,” said Samsung UK and Ireland content product manager, Rhian James.

As part of a promotion aimed at gamers, Samsung will offer UK customers who buy Samsung Smart TVs between June 6 and September 4 a three-month subscription to GameFly Streaming and a complementary controller. The offer will apply to selected TV models, bought from participating retailers.
