Huawei officially released its video-as-a-service solution to the industry at TV Connect 2016 in London today.
The software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution is designed helps carriers quickly launch video services, reduce investment risk and shorten time-to-market.
“By taking advantage of Huawei’s global content and application aggregation platform, operators are able to provide end-users with a diversified video service and better user experience, thereby increasing revenue,” said the information and communications technology company.
“In the modern video era, more and more operators are realising that video is not just a value-added service on top of traditional telco services (mobile, fixed-line and broadband) but is also fundamental to future strategy for digital transformation and revenue growth.”
