ProSiebenSat.1-owned subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) service, Maxdome, has partnered with video app specialist Accedo on the newest version of its service.
The recently updated Maxdome includes a new user experience (UX) that was developed using the Accedo XDK cross-platform development toolkit.
The new UX is designed to make it easy for subscribers to explore Maxdome’s SVOD library. It also makes use of video trailers throughout the service instead of static images.
Maxdome’s chief technical officer, Claus Spacil, said that the new video-centric UX for Maxdome was created in “record time”.
“Thanks to Accedo’s wealth of experience and product excellence, they have helped accelerate our time-to-market with our new and improved video service,” he said.
Accedo CEO Michael Lantz added: “The new Maxdome service is revolutionising content discovery by introducing an innovative entertainment guide.”
“The focus on a video centric UX, coupled with the personal touch of recommendations from an editorial team, will be a compelling offering to subscribers across Germany.”
