MTV rebooting Cribs for Snapchat

Viacom cable net MTV is bringing back its iconic reality series Cribs, rebooting it for the Snapchat mobile platform.

The new Snapchat Cribs follows the inking of a deal between the instant messaging service and Viacom earlier this year.

Variety broke the shortform Cribs news and reported the new version will launch in June and will follow celebs as they guide fans around their house via Snapchat.

Viacom net Comedy Central has already announced a slate of Snapchat originals.
