UPC Slovakia expands Horizon Go offering

Liberty Global-owned cable operator UPC Slovakia has expanded its Horizon Go mobile TV offering by adding 14 new services.

HD additions to the offering include Dvojka HD, Joj Plus HD, ČT2 HD, AMC HD, HBO2 HD, HBO3 HD, Cinemax HD, Spektrum HD, History HD and Arena Sport1 HD.

Standard definition additions include Filmbox Family, Comedy Central Extra, Crime & Investigation and Auto, Motor & Sport.

The additions take the total number of services on Horzon Go in Slovakia to 80, including 22 in HD. UPC said it was also extending its My Prime on-demand offering, which currently offers about 1,600 titles.

UPC Slovakia has also added support for Chromecast and Apple AirPlay to Horizon Go, meaning that users will be able to view content via Apple TV or TVs connected to the Chromecast HDMI dongle.
