NBCUniversal International’s new reality TV-focused subscription video-on-demand service hayu is launching via Virgin Media in the UK.
Virgin TV XL TiVo customers will now get access to hayu at no added cost through an app on their TiVo set-top box.
Other Virgin Media TV subscribers will be able to get access to the over-the-top service later this year for the standard price of £3.99 per-month.
Hayu features over 3,000 episodes of NBCU’s stable of reality shows including Keeping Up with The Kardashians, Made in Chelsea, The Real Housewives and The Millionaire Matchmaker.
The service includes more than 50 reality series that have never been seen before in the UK and aims to add an additional 500 new episodes every year.
NBCU launched the service in in the UK, Ireland and Australia in March priced at £3.99 per month in the UK, €4.99 in Ireland and A$5.99 in Australia, as first reported by DTVE earlier this year.
Other shows available on the service include I Am Cait, Vanderpump Rules, Flipping Out, Shahs of Sunset and Million Dollar Listing.
