NBCUniversal has launched its 13th Street Universal HD channel in Poland on the Cyfrowy Polsat and nc+ platforms.
The channel is NBCUniversal’s third HD service to launch in Poland, following launches of Universal Channel HD and E! Entertainment HD.
13th Street Universal HD will be part of Cyfrowy Polsat’s Film HD package. However, the service will be available for all subscribers for one month until April 14.
On nc+, the channel will be part of the operator’s Start+ package. Anna Limbach-Uryn, nc+ programme director, said that the addition took the number of HD services on the platform to 81.
Shows on the channel in March include new local documentary series Kobiety i Mafia (Women and the Mafia).
