Thema secures Canadian deal for Canal Algérie

French channel distributor Thema has secured a carriage deal for Algerian public TV channel Canal Algérie with Canadian operator Bell’s FIBE TV platform.

The channel will be available free of charge until June 10, after which it will be available as an à la carte option or within an additional bouquet.

Thema said that the deal strengthened the extension of Canal Algérie’s distribution in the Canadian pay TV market.
