Vimeo has launched a new version of its iOS app with a new video discovery and browsing experience.
The new app surfaces new videos picked daily by Vimeo’s curators across 16 categories, which include music, animation, travel and documentary.
Other new features include a new interface optimised for iOS 9, the ability to watch a video while browsing the rest of the app, and an updated iOS upload backend system.
“We spent a lot of time building out a robust feature set for the app that leverages everything iOS 9 has to offer. Vimeo’s new iOS app makes discovering, browsing and watching gorgeous videos straight from Vimeo’s global creator community even easier,” said said Vimeo’s vice-president of product, Christophe Gillet.
