Ukrainian cable operator Volia is to increase the number of hours of content in the Ukrainian language on its Volia Cine+ service to 350 this year as part of a drive to increase the amount of versioning in Ukrainian done by the operator.
Volia has teamed up with local production outfit Tak Treba Production to version content on its channels. The company versioned a Brazlilan TV series, Globo-produced Pearl of Love, in Ukrainian at the end of last year as a first step. Volia said that it had already arranged to dub more content from Globo and series including Call the Midwife from the BBC in the local language this year.
Today is the final day to take part our outsourcing and automation survey!
