Accedo expands global presence, appoints APAC tech exec

Sweden-headquartered TV app provider, Accedo, has opened an office in Singapore and appointed former Irdeto and Kit Digital, Chris Hampartsoumian, to work in the region.

Hampartsoumian joins as technical director for the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, and the addition of a Singapore office marks a strategic step by the company to further strengthen its global position, according to Accedo.

The new office will see Accedo offer local support for APAC customers including Telstra, PCCW, Telstra, MediaCorp, SBS and LightBox.

“Since Accedo’s inception over a decade ago, our strategy has always been to be close to customers. Opening our Singapore office and resourcing locally are evident of our commitment to that promise”, said Matt Kossatz, vice president, Asia Pacific at Accedo.

“We’re excited about the market growth in the region and we’re happy to be able to provide even better support to our customers in the region.”
