The entire 2016 Ultra HD Philips TV range will be high dynamic range (HDR) compatible, according to TP Vision – the company that manufactures Philips-branded sets.
TP Vision said that HDR capability will feature from its 6000 range of TVs onwards and that its immersive Ambilight technology will now appear throughout its UHD range, except on the 6101 models.
The TVs will also feature Google’s Android TV platform and the 6400 series upwards will include Quad Core processing capabilities.
TP Vision develops, manufactures and markets Philips branded TV sets in Europe, Russia, Middle East, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and selected countries in Asia-Pacific.
