MTV Trax music app launches in Spain via Samsung phones

MTV Spain has launched MTV Trax, a new music app that will be available exclusively on Samsung Galaxy smartphones.

The app gives users access to a catalogue of music curated and updated daily by MTV Spain and playlists that can be listened to in offline mode.

“MTV Trax comes as a part of Viacom International Media Networks’ (VIMN’s) continuous development of its digital strategy,” said Jorge Conde, VIMN’s senior director, multiplatform business development, South Europe, Middle East and Africa.

“Thanks to its leading position as a prescriptive expert in music, MTV places in the pocket of the users of this new app the ‘music that matters’ for every moment; a wide selection of new songs each week, directly on their smartphones.”
