ShortsTV renews Telenet deal

Short film channel ShortsTV has renewed its linear distribution agreement with Belgian TV operator Telenet.

The HD channel is fully localised in Flemish and airs short movies from around the world, including hours of original Flemish content.

As part of the renewed Telenet deal, ShortsTV said it will acquire and broadcast more Flemish produced films and invest in emerging Flemish talent through short film competitions and screenings.

“Telenet is a highly-valued partner of ShortsTV and we’re delighted to extend our relationship for the benefit of our viewers in Belgium,” said ShortsTV EMEA president, Jan Pieter Koene.
