Acorn TV, the US OTT service that is programmed with UK drama, has launched Apple and Android apps and is now on Apple TV.
Acorn, which is run by Agatha Christie content company RLJ, launching on Apple TV service means UK drama fans in the US can now download the new app and subscribe via the tech company’s TV service.
Matthew Graham, general manager of Acorn TV, noted, “We’re excited for the millions of Apple TV owners to now have easy access to the deep library of curated, high-quality international programs on Acorn TV.”
The SVOD service worked with tech firm Qello on the Apple launch.
