Liberty Global-owned cable operator UPC Czech Republic has upgraded its network in the city of Karlovy Vary.
The moves means that from this month, the operator will make its advanced digital TV service Horizon and broadband internet with speeds of up to 300Mbps available to 3,600 additional homes in the spa town.
UPC Czech Republic marketing director Jan Kohout said that the operator upgraded a further 62,000 homes last year and now offers advanced services to over 1.42 million homes. He said that the UPC would focus on the intensive construction of new networks this year.
