Multimedia Polska adds Eleven Sports

Polish cable operator Multimedia Polska has struck a deal with Eleven Sports to offer its channels in HD.

Multimedia Polska will offer Eleven and Eleven Sports in HD at no additional charge from February 9.

The Eleven Sports network offers content including Spanish La Liga, Italian Seria A, French Ligue 1, English FA Cup, Scottish football league and Belgian Jupiler Pro League football. Other sports on the network include ATP tennis and the US Super Bowl.

Danny Menken, group managing director of Eleven Sports Network,  said the deal with one of Poland’s largest cable operators was a significant achievement for the network, while Multimedia Polska spokeswoman Krystyna Kanownik said the agreement was good news for sports fans.
