Pay TV channel provider Scripps Networks Interactive has named Ettie Etela as vice-president, research and insights, UK and EMEA.
Etela will report to UK and EMEA managing director Phillip Luff and will will support the business’ overall strategy, working closely with channel, commercial and digital teams.
Etela previously worked at Nielsen NRG International as Research Director, where she led a range of projects from testing content and materials, as well as leading studies into the effectiveness of marketing and international consumer understanding. She has also worked at Discovery and Disney.
Etela replaces Paul McEvoy who joined the company in 2013 as vice-president planning and research, UK and EMEA, Scripps Networks Interactive.
