Euronews is expanding its presence in the Caribbean through a deal with Digicel Play in Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago.
The Euronews English service will be available for the first time in Jamaica via Digicel Play, while the operator deal will extend the channel’s reach in Trinidad and Tobago.
“This new deal is a clear opportunity to increase our visibility in the region and Euronews is proud to deliver independent world news with a unique perspective to the Caribbean region,” said Corine Babani, Euronews’ distribution manager, North America and Caribbean.
Euronews claims to currently broadcast to 722,000 households in the Caribbean region.
