Friend MTS appoints Piksel exec as senior solutions architect

Content and platform protection specialist, Friend MTS, has appointed OTT expert and former Piksel executive Chris White as senior solutions architect.

White joins from Piksel where responsible for designing, building and supporting the OTT infrastructure for pay TV providers including Sky, Channel 4, OSN and AT&T.

“Having worked in the media industry for over 10 years I’m well aware of the issues that content piracy can cause content owners and broadcasters. Friend MTS has best-in-class solutions and technology that solve this growing problem, and with the global increase in video consumption and the emergence of new standards such as 4K now is an exciting time to be involved in anti-piracy solutions,” said White.

In his new role he will report to Rob Brown, who has been promoted to technical operations director at Friend MTS.
