Canal+ names European affairs chief

Christophe Roy

Christophe Roy

Canal+ Group has named Christophe Roy as director of European affairs under Frédéric Crépin, the group’s secretary-general.

Roy will retain his existing responsibilities as deputy director, legal, for distribution and competition under Hélène Fleury.

Canal+ said that due to growing workload related to regulation and thanks to his expertise in this area, Pascaline Gineste will now focus on her functions as director of regulatory affairs, also reporting to Crépin.

Roy joined Canal+ in 2008 as deputy director of regulatory and European affairs, becoming deputy director, legal, distribution and competition in 2010.

Gineste joined the group in 1984 and has occupied a number of different roles before taking on her current responsibilities in 2007.
