Polish cable operator Multimedia Polska has chosen Teleste to provide a next-generation TV content delivery system.
Teleste will deliver video processing and CDN products and technologies. Additionally, Teleste’s Ubique SW Suite will be used to control streaming video delivery to various consumer devices. Teleste is also acting as the overall system integrator of the service platform.
The system will be developed in several phases over the next three years. The total value of the agreement is dependent on the eventual scale of the deployment, but is expected to amount to at least €1 million, according to Teleste.
In 2013, Multimedia Polska launched a multiscreen TV service that is going to be expanded thanks to its cooperation with Teleste, according to the company.
The Finnish technology company said that Multimedia Polska will provide a prominent reference customer for its Ubique video service delivery platform, helping it to target future growth on TV content delivery solutions business.
