Ukrainian cable operator Volia has added Museum HD to its programming line-up.
The channel, owned by France’s SECOM, which also owns thematic channel MyZen.TV, allows viewers to see leading art collections in HD, working in partnership with galleries including the UK’s National Gallery and Tate galleries and France’s Louvre and Musée d’Orsay.
Separately, Volia said that a survey of its subscribers’ viewing habits in November last year showed that Ukrainian national channels 1+1, STB, ICTV, Novy and Ukraine were the most-watched services on its platform. Volia said that its own Volia Cine+ HD, Volia Cine+ Mix, Volia Cine and Legend channels also made the top 30.
