Vodafone Spain has added 13 new TV channels to its offering, including four HD services.
The operator, which controls the former Ono cable network in the country, has added Atresmedia Television’s Nova HD, Neox HD and Mega HD channels.
Vodafone is also adding Viacom International Media Networks-owned MTV España to its line-up.
The operator is also adding a range of regional channels to its offering, including Basque channels ETB HD, ETB1, ETB2 and ETB3, Galician channels TVG and G2, Asturias channels TPA7 and TPA8 and Extremadura service Canal Extremadura. The company said it was responding to demand for local and regional services in areas where it had recently expanded its network and made its TV offering available for the first time.
The HD additions take Vodafone’s HD total to 65, which it says preserves its leadership position as a supplier of HD services.
