A+E Networks expands History’s Polish reach

A+E Networks has widened the Polish reach of its factual entertainment channel History, with the rollout today on cable platform Vectra.

History will be available on Vectra’s Gold, Platinum and Super HD packages, making it accessible to some 500,000 additional homes in Poland.

“Our goal is to deliver great TV content for our customers and to offer the best entertainment channels in our TV packages. History is a channel with a unique slate of programmes that has proven able to attract viewers across the world,” said Vectra content manager, Małgorzata Wojtaszko.

Izabella Wiley, general manager, A+E Networks Poland said: “We believe that our channel will add tremendous value to Vectra’s offering and we are very pleased to be working with them on delivering great content to viewers in Poland.”

A+E Networks claims that History is already available in 4.6 million Polish homes after first launching in the country in 2008.

The channel is already available via Polish operators including Cyfrowy Polsat, nc+, UPC, Vectra and Toya.
