Technology company Motive Television has signed a renewal agreement with Italian pay TV operator Mediaset Premium to continue to provide support and other technology services for the maintenance and delivery of Motive’s headend product.
This agreement will ensure the continuity of Motive’s Content Express platform to operate the Mediaset’s Premium Service for a seventh year, according to the company.
Mediaset Premium will continue to engage the services of Motive to provide support and other technology services for the maintenance and delivery of services including datacasting and autorecording functionalities that are operated by a combination of the headend system and client software.
Leonard Fertig, CEO of Motive Television, said, “As Motive’s first client, we are pleased that Mediaset has decided to continue the use of our Content Express platform to provide its Mediaset Premium services to hundreds of thousands of homes for a seventh year. Motive’s relationship with Italy’s premier media company and one of Europe’s most successful broadcasters remains strong and we are looking forward to offering Mediaset new products and features in the future.”
