Italian broadcaster Mediaset has reported revenues of €2.414 billion for the first nine months, up from €2.388 billion for the same period in 2014.
In Italy, revenues were up to €1.741 billion, compared with €1.730 billion in the same period of the previous year. In Spain the figure was €674.7 million, compared with €658.2 million in 2014.
In Spain, TV advertising sales rose to €659.2 million, compared with €628.3 the previous year.
In Italy, gross advertising revenues reached €1.362 billion, essentially in line (up 0.2%) with the first nine months of last year (€1.36 billion).
EBIT amounted to €83.1 million, compared with €107.5 million in the previous year. In Italy the EBIT result was negative €47.7 million, compared with positive €23.7 in 2014. In Spain the figure rose to €131.4 million, compared with €84.2 million last year.
However, there was an improvement in the consolidated net result of negative €35.8 million compared with negative €46.8 million in the first nine months of 2014.
