Polish service provider Netia reported 161,000 TV customers at the end of the third quarter, up 20% year-on-year.
The company said that 42% of its broadband base on its wholly-owned network now used the TV service. Netia’s overall broadband customers totaled 768,600, with 54% served by Netia over its own access network, compared with 50% a year ago.
Netia’s revenues for the nine months to September amounted ot PLN1.169 billion (€275 million), down 8%. However revenues for the third quarter grew by 5% to PLN500 million.
The mandate of Netia’s temporary chairman, Bogusława Matuszewska, expired on October 6, and the role has been taken over by Tomasz Szopa, board member responsible for B2C.
