TVN hails Web Therapy success

Polish broadcaster TVN’s new online-only series Web Therapy, which premiered on the Player.pl platform on October 21, has attracted over 300,000 views, breaking the company’s record to date.

Fremantle Media-produced Web Therapy, starring Polish Oscar-winning actress Agata Kulesza, is the first of a series of online productions unveiled by TVN at MIPCOM last month.

Piotr Ochalski, Player.pl programing director, said: “TVN’s original online productions are developed specifically for today’s young media consumer. Unusual interest in ‘Web Therapy’ is a confirmation for us that producing content exclusively for player.pl is what our viewers expect. We will not stop at this one production. We are already working on next online original productions including a polish version of the hit show ‘Lip Sync Battle,’ and the first Polish reality show dedicated to the online audience, ‘Start U Up!’”
