Canalplay adds Maker Studios section

Canal+’s SVoD service Canalplay has added a section dedicated to Disney-owned MCN Maker Studios to its service.

Canalplay is making over 500 videos available across lifestyle, gaming and sport, entertainment and family genres available on Canalplay.

The Maker section of the service will be available at no extra charge, and Canal+ has said it will add over 2,000 videos a month to the service.

The French pay TV broadcaster said that the launch was part of the deal it signed with Disney in April, allowing Canalplay to be the first SVoD service in France to offer its content.
