Minerva taps ContentWise for personalisation

TV software provider Minerva Networks has tapped ContentWise to provide new content navigation, personalisation and discovery features for its Minerva 10 entertainment delivery platform.

Minerva is using ContentWise’s content search, discovery and recommendation solution.  The integration will support personalisation for live and on-demand content.

The integration of the ContentWise solution with the Minerva 10 platform enables the delivery of personalised pay TV services across multiple devices. ContentWise’s automated content personalisation system will ingest cross-device consumption data collected by the Minerva platform and provide recommendations based on usage history, overall programme popularity, and target device. Recommendations will then be presented to subscribers through Minerva’s user interface, delivering access to recommended programming across multiple content sources. The platform can support multiple user profiles per account and dynamically change the user interface layout based on ContentWise’s input.
