Zappware, a provider of digital TV products for pay TV operators, has added a personalised home screen to the user interface of its end-to-end DVB/IPTV/OTT platform.
The new personalised home screen lets users browse both live and on-demand content, with the size and the position of the items indicating the appropriateness for the viewer based on their user profile.
The new screen is available on both Android and iOS devices, with the personalisation made possible through the integration of the Zappware platform with Ncanto, XroadMedia’s content discovery and recommendation solution.
Ncanto finds relevant content according to the consumers’ behaviour, interest and social profiles and lets service providers “maximise their revenues streams by blending business goals with user profiles.”
