Russian cable operator Akado Telecom/Komkor is adding three new channels to the programming line-up of its networks in Moscow and St Petersburg.
The operator is adding Russkiy Roman (Russian Romance) and Russkiy Detektiv (Russian Detective) to its Kino package, and Ani to its Mix package.
Russkiy Roman shows domestically produced romantic dramas and movies from state-owned broadcaster RTR. Russkiy Detektiv airs crime drama and movies, while Ani is a kids channel specialisting in international animation content, aimed at 6-12 year-olds.
The channels will be available to Akado customers from August 17.
