Consumer electronics manufacturer UMC Slovakia, which holds the licence to the Sharp brand in Europe, has teamed up with smart TV content and app specialist Foxxum to integrate Foxxum’s smart TV platform into all new Sharp TV models sold in Europe.
Under the five-year deal, users of Sharp smart TVs will gain access to Foxxum’s international content portfolio, while Foxxum’s content partners will gain access to new Sharp smart TV users across Europe.
