Sky in Germany has upped deputy chief financial officer, Simon Robson, to the CFO role.
Robson will take up his new position in September and succeed Steven Tomsic, who steps down after almost five years as Sky Germany’s finance chief.
“Steven Tomsic has played a very important role in the turnaround of Sky. I thank Steve very much for his fundamental contribution and wish him well for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead of him,” said Sky Germany CEO, Carsten Schmidt.
He added that Robson, who has 18 years’ experience in finance and strategy at Sky in the UK, is a “powerful and experienced manager” and that Sky Germany is fortunate that he is joining as CFO.
