Middle East and North African streaming service Icflix has launched a revamped version of its Android app, with a new interface and integrated Chromecast support.
The second iteration of the app has a “new sleeker user interface” that was redesigned from scratch using customer feedback, according to Icflix. It also supports the latest Android operating systems like Lollipop 5.0 and 5.1.
Icflix founder and CEO, Carlos Tibi, said the new app is “faster, efficient and more user-friendly, making it easier to navigate”. He added that as more consumers use their mobiles to consume video, “it is important that our app works and looks good across all the different size Android devices available.”
