YipTV signs platform deal with aioTV

Hispanic streaming TV service, YipTV, has tapped OTT middleware platform provider aioTV to power the service.

US-based YipTV has launched its Spanish-language OTT service earlier this year and said that with aioTV the firms will accelerate innovation and offer “compelling streaming experiences.”

“With aioTV, we’ve been able to craft the best Hispanic streaming service blending licensed and Internet content in a rich experience at a fraction of the cost, time and resources over any other approach” said Michael Tribolet, CEO at YipTV.

Mike Earle, CEO of aioTV, added: “Our ability to normalise multiple sources of content, provide subscriber, device and player management along with packaging and control toolsets enabled YipTV to quickly realise their vision.”
