French service provider Numericable-SFR has added the five channels from public broadcaster France Télévisions to its Restart TV service and is making Restart available across its LaBox TV and SFR TV applications.
The addition of France Télévisions channels will enable Numericable-SFR customers with fibre connections to view programmes on France 2, the national version of France 3, France 4, France 5 and France ô from the beginning if they have missed the start of transmission.
The Restart functionality will be available via its LaBox TV and SFR TV applications, which make over 150 supplementary channels available across multiple screens.
According to the operator, citing Baromètre NC-CSA figures for 2014, over 50% of LaBox subscribers have already used the service, with over 20% using it at least one time per month.
