Altice names Van Breukelen as future chairman in new structure

Cable and telecom investor Altice has named Jurgen Van Breukelen to its board as an independent non-executive director.

Van Breuklelen, a former CEO and country senior partner for KPMG in the Netherlands, has been named as chairman of the Altice audit committee and a member of the remuneration committee. Subject to approval by the next general meeting of Altice, he will serve on the board for a three-year period from July 1.

Altice said it expects Van Breuklelen to serve as independent chairman of the board of directors and chairman of Altice NV’s audit committee once the merger of Luxembourg-based Altice SA into Netherlands-based Altice NV is completed.
