Digi adds AMC-owned kids net Megamax to satellite service

Hungarian service provider Digi has added AMC Networks International-owned kids channel Megamax to its satellite offer.

The channel targets children aged seven to 14 and now reaches more than 1.9 million households in Hungary, according to AMC.

DIGI first started carrying Magamax on its cable systems last March. With the new deal, it has now extended this to its satellite service.

Megamax’s sister channel Minimax targets younger children and is also popular in Hungary. Both channels are owned and operated by AMC Networks International – Central Europe.
